Delete Your Data

Last updated: May 10, 2026

We believe you should have full control over your information. If you want to delete your account and your data from imperfectly, here is how.

We learn your patterns, not your secrets. When you leave, your data leaves with you.

Quick Process

Send an email to: [email protected]

That is it. We handle the rest.

What to Include

Keep it simple. Tell us:

  • You want to delete your account
  • The email address you signed up with
  • Your username, if it is different

Subject line suggestion: “Delete My Account”

What Happens Next

Timeline: We process your request within 30 days, usually faster.

Confirmation: You get an email when it is done.

What gets deleted:

  • Your account and writing profile
  • Connected account metadata from linked platforms
  • Usage data and style preferences
  • Login credentials

What we might keep:

  • Transaction records, if applicable (legal requirement)
  • De-identified analytics data
  • Information needed for security or fraud prevention

We only keep what the law requires or what is needed to protect our platform and other users.

Before You Go

Export your data first. Once deleted, it is gone permanently. If you need a copy of your information, request it before submitting your deletion request.
  • Cancel subscriptions. Make sure any active services are cancelled to avoid billing issues.
  • No take-backs. Account deletion is permanent and irreversible.

Questions? Email us at [email protected] anytime.

This process complies with GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection regulations. We comply because it is part of how the product works, not just because the law says so.
